A warmer house

An Eskgrove home is highly insulated and as air tight as possible in order to keep heat in and cold draughts out. The under floor heating heats from the floor up, not from the ceiling down, so you end up with warm feet and a cool head, and not the other way round. Together with double or triple glazing as standard, your home will be nice and cosy all the year round.

A quieter house

The internal partitions throughout the house are denser and are acoustically insulated to ensure you have peace and quiet in every room. And of course, the intermediate floor is similarly designed so the ‘herd of elephants’ upstairs does not disturb your reading downstairs.

A cleaner house

Because the house is so air tight we have to reintroduce a managed amount of air changes to prevent condensation and still air areas. This filtered, clean, warm air is a boon to hay fever sufferers and asthmatics alike. And with the under floor heating there are no radiators therefore no dust traps so your house is easier to keep dust free and clean. We also design in lots of storage throughout the house ensuring that everything can be tidied away quickly and easily.

A greener house

At Eskgrove we want to build houses that are solid, reliable and sustainable. No untried daft techno tangle hanging off roofs and walls which bemuse the owner and annoy the neighbours. Just dependable well tried technologies which are embedded in the design and construction of your home. High levels of insulation and air tightness together with a whole house ventilation and heat recovery system means that energy demand is very low. Coupled with heat pumps which replace boilers, heating bills are dramatically reduced.
